GINGER SNAPS

2014. Simple fan art basically showcasing the evolution of BFFs Ginger Foutley, Dodie Bishop, and Macie Lightfoot. In 1999, they looked dang crude in the unaired pilot, before evolving into the cuter middle schoolers they were in the first 48 episodes. Finally, they turned into beautiful (at least in Ginger's case) high schoolers. I'll never really know how Ginger and Macie put up with Dodie's crap no matter what though...

This masterpiece kind of takes Dodie Bishop's girl crush on Courtney Gripling to higher, more uncomfortable levels. So, Dodie is dreaming that she and Courtney are on the beach, and Courtney gives her the opportunity to lick whipped cream off her belly, topped with a cherry. If that doesn't scream "Les Yay", I don't know what does... It's a pretty funny drawing.

2014. I love how the main characters of "As Told by Ginger" have a large variety of clothing, unlike in most other Nickelodeon cartoons. Ginger Foutley herself is my most favorite character of the show. She's adorable and talented in writing. I love her!

I really wish that Ginger really HAS ended her sort-of-friendship with that traitor named Dodie Bishop. She's so blind to not do so yet. Anyway, I made this fan art exclusively for my Ginger Snaps blog post on a fanfic that I might be writing. Go to the link for more info.

2014. Although this masterpiece is based on my most hated episode, "Wicked Game", it's purpose is to show that Ginger and Darren were made for each other, and that nobody should interfere with the true love between them. That includes you, Bishop!

After seeing how hilariously big Dodie's mouth was in "Sleep on It" when she yelled, "NEXT SLUMBER PARTY?!?", I thought I should do this exaggeration.

As you can see, Dodie is characteristically jumping with joy about something. I drew this as a frame for my "ATBG" 15th anniversary animation made with Paint. But on Wix, for an April Fools post on Dodie, it was enhanced by myself with a frame.
